W normalnej sytuacji porównałbym nowe wydawnictwo Moby'ego do b-stron Play. Ze zrozumiałych powodów nie mogę tego zrobić, zwłaszcza że 18 zupełnie nie wytrzymuje z tymiż b-stronami porównania.... więcej »

With ''18,'' you also know you're listening to a sequel. There's no denying that some of the freshness of ''Play'' is gone. Personally, I don't mind. ''18'' is a soundtrack for lives and dreams that collapse and are gradually rebuilt, albeit with a heavy heart. 18 is clearly intended to appeal to the same folks who snarfed up Play, but it's hard to see the album as anything like a pandering repeat of past successes. Virtually every song on the album is a gem, and whereas Play gets derivative and boring by the last few tracks, 18 goes strong all the way... więcej »

Commercial it may be, but why knock success? Moby has won it the hard way and should be allowed time to enjoy it. But if the next album after 18 is more of the same, we'll know we have a music-by-numbers man with us, rather than the exceptional artist we'd hoped for.... więcej »

The real problem with 18 is that everything feels sort of out of place and half-assed. While Moby kept on putting in sampled vocals for each track everything has lost all of its emotion and certain songs feel very out of place.... więcej »
