Kolejny zespół okrzyknięty na Wyspach nadzieją melodyjnego, gitarowego, rock'n'rollowego grania wydał wreszcie, po wielu perturbacjach, swój debiutancki krążek (w Wlk. Brytanii ukazał się on w lipcu 2004 r.). Muzycy cieszą się już sporym szacunkiem kolegów z branży. Współpracowali z Mikiem Skinnerem (The Streets) przy singlu "Fit But You Know It", a z Franz Ferdinand zagrali wspólną trasę koncertową po Stanach Zjednoczonych.
Do stacji radiowych wchodzi właśnie ich singel z utworem "Hounds Of Love" - nową wersją przeboju Kate Bush.

The Futureheads are a four-headed beast, each barking for themselves, bringing their own tricks, which can be bewildering and thrilling in the same breath. The only criticism is the lack of invention and the tendency to drag its Doc Martens over the length of an album.
